New York Post, Daniel Farr, Saturday 9:30 p.m. ET / U.S. Attorney Adam Gordon: Geovany Andres Rojas, 45, known as “Spider,” was extradited from Colombia on Thursday and placed in U.S. custody. He arrived at an undisclosed location in San Diego around 4:30 p.m., surrounded by DEA and FBI agents. Earlier: a guarded transfer at a Colombian National Police air base in Bogotá. Colombian President Abelardo de la Espriella attended the handoff and announced the extradition Friday. Gordon: “Colombia and the Department of Justice are making a clean sweep of narcoterrorists, starting with Rojas.” Charges are allegations. They are not convictions.
Prosecutors: Rojas faces international conspiracy to distribute cocaine and narcoterrorism. They accuse him of leading Comandos de la Frontera, a paramilitary group with an estimated 1,000 members in southwestern Colombia, making money from cocaine cultivation and production. The cocaine-conspiracy count carries a mandatory minimum of 10 years and up to life if convicted. The narcoterrorism count carries at least 20 years and up to life if convicted. Rojas was arrested in Colombia in February 2025 on an Interpol warrant; de la Espriella ordered the extradition Aug. 26. He is expected to appear at 2 p.m. Sept. 28 before U.S. Magistrate Judge Steve B. Chu. We will not invent that hearing. Saturday’s unused $12.2 million already ran.

If you needed last night’s unused Treasury checks, they still stand. If you needed this morning’s unused crime, it is Rojas, 45, two named counts, San Diego. Not a verdict.
Bottom line: Extradited. Two counts alleged. Not Massachusetts. Not a conviction.
