414 already ran. 5 claimed already ran. Al-Aghbari already ran. This is Thursday’s unused eight.
Arab News, Dubai, updated Oct. 1, 2026, 12:19: Yemeni government forces said Thursday they were in fierce fighting across several Taiz fronts, including Bani Bakari, Jabal Habashi, and Hamir. Col. Majid Al-Nuzaili, armed-forces spokesman, said the military had carried out eight “precise targeting operations” against Houthi reinforcements, weapons, and equipment. He said those operations targeted three artillery batteries on the Al-Wazi’iyah front and a mobile air-defense system in Mokha, a Red Sea port west of Taiz, that had been developed by experts from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and previously identified by Yemeni forces. He also said Houthi leaders and fighters had been “neutralized” in Mansoura and Bab Al-Mandab, without providing further details. That is his line. It is a spokesman. There was no Houthi comment in the Arab News file.
Anadolu, Ömer Aşur Çuhadar, Oct. 1: the army said Wednesday it carried out 468 operations on three fronts — eastern and Al-Bayda in central Yemen, and Al-Mansoura in Al-Wazi'iyah — claiming hundreds killed or injured, without providing further details. Spokesman Maj. Gen. Majed Abdullah al-Nazili on X. Unverified. Wednesday morning already filed Anadolu: 414 operations in 24 hours, no body count. We will not reprint 414 as first-day news. Wednesday midday already filed five claimed in Taiz, including Youssef, 12. Evening already filed al-Aghbari continuing. We will not smash 8 and 468 into a count we weighed, and we will not invent Mokha retaken.
What this means for you
If you needed last night’s unused Lahj night, it still stands as continuing, not a full offensive. If you needed this morning’s unused international, it is 8 claimed ops, Mokha named, and 468 claimed without a number. Unverified. If the week is too heavy, 988.
Bottom line: 8 claimed. Mokha named. 468 claimed, no body count. Not 414. Not 5 claimed.
