Tuesday’s warning already ran. This is Wednesday’s unused strike.
The National, Oct. 14 / Saudi Press Agency: the Energy Ministry said a missile struck an Aramco administrative building in Dhahran, Eastern Province, Tuesday night. A fire. No deaths or injuries, SPA said. Bloomberg called it the executive headquarters. A Reuters source called it a headquarters complex. Neither Aramco nor Saudi authorities had officially confirmed which building was hit. Do not smash headquarters into administrative building. Monday this desk would not type Aramco as confirmed. SPA is the unused pin: admin building, fire, no casualties.
Same National page / Civil Defence: debris from two cruise missiles intercepted and destroyed over Riyadh injured four people — two women, a man, and a child. A Civil Defence representative: falling debris also damaged 15 residential homes. Coalition: intercepted a ballistic missile toward Dhahran, debris in a residential area; intercepted a missile toward Haradh; intercepted three drones north of Riyadh. Those intercepts are not Tuesday’s unused two toward Khamis Mushait. We will not reprint Khamis.
Coalition, late Tuesday / Maj. Gen. Turki al-Malki: an operation against energy sites in Houthi-held Yemen, including the Al Sabahah station in Sanaa and piers used for loading fuel at Hodeidah. Tuesday this desk filed the unused evacuate warning. The warning is not this strike. The strike is not Sanaa fallen. Al-Malki: the Houthis use civilian objects and vital resources, including Al Sabahah, underground fuel reserves, and fuel-loading berths in Hodeidah, Sanaa, and Dhamar. The National: the scale of damage and the impact on fuel supplies were not immediately clear. The Houthis said fuel reserves had been dispersed before the attack — unverified. Al Jazeera, Wednesday: the coalition intercepted a ballistic missile toward Riyadh; Civil Defence issued alerts for Al-Kharj and the capital, then said the danger had passed. The Houthis claimed they hit Aramco in Dhahran, an Aramco refinery in Riyadh, and King Khalid International Airport. A claim is not a confirmed airport hit. The Oct. 17 NOTAM already ran as unused Tuesday paper. We will not reprint Saturday’s 13 / 300+ vs GACA 12 / 309, Sunday’s 1 dead / 11 injured, 2,750, not secured, Al Jaber, Eryani, or Dhubab. We will not invent Sanaa fallen.
What this means for you
If you needed Tuesday’s unused international, it still stands as two intercepts over Khamis Mushait, a NOTAM to Oct. 17 that is not a reopen, and a warning that was not the capital taken. If you needed this morning’s unused file, it is a Dhahran admin building, fire, no casualties, four injured by Riyadh debris, and Al Sabahah / Hodeidah struck. If you needed Sanaa fallen, wait.
Bottom line: Admin building, fire, no casualties. Al Sabahah struck. Not Sanaa fallen. Not Tuesday’s two intercepts reprinted.
