Thursday’s Peterbilt held already ran. Tuesday’s “morally binding” lunch already ran. This is Sunday’s unused name.
CBS News, Kaia Hubbard, Sunday 9:25 a.m. ET: President Trump announced the formation of a “Super Intelligence Force” after last week’s White House meeting with the country’s largest artificial-intelligence companies. In a Truth Social post he wrote that, following “the Historic White House Accord on Super Intelligence,” he is announcing the SIF so America “continues to lead the World in Super Intelligence.” That is the federal term he directed agencies to use instead of artificial intelligence. A rename is not a statute.
Same CBS file, and CNN’s Julia Benbrook, published 8:59 a.m. ET, updated 9:41: the force will coordinate the government’s engagement with consumers, public-interest groups, religious organizations, infrastructure providers, and industry. It will be led by Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton, FTC Chair Andrew Ferguson, Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering and Pentagon chief technology officer Emil Michael, and OPM Director Scott Kupor. They report to Trump and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. POLITICO, John Sakellariadis and Cheyanne M. Daniels, 8:54 a.m. ET: Clayton keeps the spy job while taking the new AI czar title. Tuesday already filed the unused lunch: a voluntary one-page accord, “four layers of controls and audits,” Trump saying “I think it’s morally binding.” A pledge is not this Sunday’s unused sentence. We will not reprint Denton or that lunch as first-day news, and we will not type a bill this board does not have.
What this means for you
If you needed Thursday’s unused plant, it still stands as remarks that were held. If you needed this afternoon’s unused politics, it is Clayton named to lead a task force, not a law.
Bottom line: Super Intelligence Force. Clayton named. Not Tuesday’s accord reprinted. Not a statute.
