Both will be in New York this week for the U.N. General Assembly. The Hill, Tara Suter, 4:48 p.m. ET: Zelensky posted on X that it was “an important conversation,” that “we agreed to meet in New York,” and that “there is diplomatic momentum.” A post is not a White House pool report. We will not type the hour.
Saturday midday’s file was the hole on Mike Waltz’s roster: Zelensky was not listed, and two Ukrainian officials said a bilateral was not finalized. That already ran. Sunday’s unused wire is Zelensky saying the meeting is on. Agreed is not held. Xi skipping New York already ran. Thursday in Washington is a different calendar.
