Macron’s pledge already ran. 3% insurance already ran. Six missiles already ran. This is Friday’s unused pipe.
OilPrice, Friday 8:00 a.m. CDT: Saudi Aramco restarted the East-West pipeline — Petroline — less than two weeks after attacks knocked out a system rated 7 million barrels a day. Pumping is back at reduced rates. Aramco is targeting about 4 million bpd as flows rebuild. Kpler: the line had been moving about 5.5 million bpd before the September hit, including about 4.5 million destined for export from Yanbu. A target is not a count we met. A restart is not 7 million.
Tanker loadings at Yanbu appear to have restarted this week, OilPrice said. Regular exports have not recovered. Industrial Info cited satellite images of vessels taking on crude. Reuters: Aramco told European refiners it first needed a “critical mass” of crude at the port. Two tankers scheduled to load Sept. 23 had not done so. Six more were scheduled Sept. 24–27. Morning already filed loadings not resumed as of that Reuters desk. We will not smash the two. Tonight’s unused sentence is a reduced-rate restart with missed cargoes, not a reopening. Dryad Global, via OilPrice: Bab el-Mandeb traffic about 30 vessels a day, from about 80. Thursday’s six already ran. Midday’s soldiers already ran.
What this means for you
If you needed this morning’s unused premium, it still stands. If you needed this afternoon’s unused pledge, it still stands. If you needed tonight’s unused international, it is 4 million targeted, two cargoes missed. Not a full restore. Not investment advice.
Bottom line: Petroline pumping. About 4 million targeted. Not 7. Not a landing.
