Associated Press, Dave Hogg, Monday 6:33 p.m. CDT: Detroit Lions 31, New York Jets 24 on Sunday in Detroit. Jahmyr Gibbs had 164 total yards on 27 touches and scored three touchdowns; his longest play was 17 yards. The Jets tied it 24–24 with 4:11 to play. Jared Goff then hit Isaac TeSlaa for 49 yards on the next snap, to the New York 16, and Gibbs scored the go-ahead touchdown on an 11-yard reception with 2:30 left. The Jets reached the Detroit 28; Chuck Clark knocked the ball away from Geno Smith on a safety blitz, Jack Campbell returned the fumble to the Lions 45, and Goff took a knee. That is the box.
