8 claimed ops already ran. 468 already ran. Al-Aghbari already ran. This is Thursday’s unused thirty.
Anadolu Agency, Mohammad Sio, Oct. 1, 2026: Yemeni government forces on Thursday said they killed at least 30 Houthi fighters and wounded dozens more as clashes spread across several fronts in Taiz province. The media center of the Taiz Military Axis said the casualties occurred on the Al-Aqrud front in Al-Misrakh district. A military source told Yemen’s state-run Saba that fighting was concentrated in Bani Bakari in Jabal Habashi district, Humair in Maqbanah district, and the Al-Aqrud front southeast of the province, later spreading to the Al-Kadaha and Jabal Han fronts and the northern and eastern fronts of Taiz city. That is their line. It is a government axis and a Saba source. There was no comment from the Houthis.
Same Anadolu file: the Armed Forces Media Center said the fighting began Wednesday evening, with army troops and the Popular Resistance repelling Houthi attacks in Jabal Habashi, Maqbanah, and Al-Aqrud. It said dozens of Houthi fighters were killed, wounded, or captured across the fronts, including field commanders, and that government warplanes carried out six airstrikes on Houthi positions and gatherings southeast of Taiz and on the Humair front. Unverified. Morning already filed Arab News: Col. Majid Al-Nuzaili claimed eight precise targeting operations, three artillery batteries in Al-Wazi’iyah, and a Mokha mobile air-defense he said IRGC experts developed. Anadolu’s 468 Wednesday operations already ran as hundreds claimed, no body count. Wednesday midday already filed five claimed including Youssef, 12. We will not reprint 8 ops as first-day news, and we will not add 30 and dozens into a count we weighed. A spokesman’s thirty is not Mokha retaken.
What this means for you
If you needed this morning’s unused eight, it still stands as a spokesman’s claim. If you needed this afternoon’s unused international, it is at least 30 claimed on Al-Aqrud and six airstrikes. Unverified. If the week is too heavy, 988.
Bottom line: At least 30 claimed on Al-Aqrud. Six airstrikes. Not 8 ops. Not a count we weighed.
