Perim was the island. This is the pump.
The Guardian, Sept. 11: Russia hit two Kyiv petrol stations with jet-powered drones in Friday morning rush hour, a day after the first such strike in the capital. All three sites in two days were Ukrnafta. Mayor Vitali Klitschko: at least two people killed and 12 injured on Friday. Pochaina, north Kyiv: witnesses described a double-tap. Desnianskyi: a car-wash manager said the siren and a spotted drone let workers run. Acting Naftogaz head Sergiy Fedorenko: βThere is, and can be, no military objective behind such attacks.β A list of 18 Kyiv stations circulated on Telegram Wednesday. The three hit so far were on it.
Ukrainian Air Force / Kyiv Post: overnight into Friday, Russia launched an S8000 βBanderolβ and 161 Shahed-type and decoy drones. As of 8 a.m., air defenses shot down or suppressed 138. Strikes or debris at 19 locations. A nine-storey Kyiv apartment also burned overnight β a separate ledger from the pumps.
This is not this morningβs Perim pin and not Thursdayβs Mocha. Zelenskyy is abroad; Thursday he met Canadaβs Mark Carney. Ukraine is still short on Patriots. We will not invent a resupply.
What this means for you
If you needed the Red Sea, that file already ran. If you needed Kyiv, the new number is three gas stations in two days. If the week is too heavy, 988.
Bottom line: Two killed, 12 hurt at the pumps, per the mayor. 161 drones. 138 downed. Not Perim.
