End of Abyss Oct. 1 already ran. Dungeons II live already ran. Deluxe already ran. This is Thursday’s unused demo.
Konami Digital Entertainment B.V., Windsor, United Kingdom, Oct. 1, 2026, 10:00: Konami today launches a demo of Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. The studio says players can enjoy the early stages ahead of the official October 15, 2026 release, with progress carried over to the Day One version. Same-platform, same-account; demo save data must be retained; certain features may be restricted; the full version must be updated to transfer. That is a publisher post. It is not a review we invent. Wednesday already filed End of Abyss as an Oct. 1 Xbox Series date, $29.99. We will not reprint that date as first-day news.
Same Konami note: the game is an exploration-based 2D action title developed jointly by Konami, Evil Empire, and Motion Twin. The story is Paris, 1499 — 23 years after Castlevania III. Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor Belmont, uses the sacred whip Vampire Killer. Konami’s product card: 60 fps on PS5, Xbox Series, and Steam; Nintendo Switch 30 fps. We will not type a Switch 2 frame rate Konami did not put in this post, and we will not invent a Metacritic. Ace Combat 8 Standard is still Oct. 2; Deluxe already ran as open. Those are calendars. This file is Belmont’s Curse, demo live, Oct. 1. A live demo is not End of Abyss reprinted.
What this means for you
If you needed Wednesday’s unused Xbox date, it still stands as End of Abyss. If you needed this afternoon’s unused Gaming, it is Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse demo live, not End of Abyss again and not a review.
Bottom line: Belmont’s Curse demo live. PS5, Switch, Xbox, Steam. Full Oct. 15. Not End of Abyss. Not a review.
