5 claimed already ran. 414 already ran. 50-plus already ran. This is Wednesday’s unused ridge.
Asharq Al-Awsat, Aden, 15:37 Wednesday: the al-Aghbari front, on the outskirts of al-Mudharaba district and Ras al-Ara in Lahj, saw fierce nighttime battles in Dhi Ahdah, al-Khazm, and al-Mansoura after a Houthi attack on positions held by government forces and tribal fighters. Yemeni military sources said government forces and tribal fighters repelled the attack, with clashes continuing through Wednesday and casualties on both sides. They did not publish a number we will invent. Airstrikes were also reported on Houthi positions in al-Bazalah and al-Dhuhourah, between al-Wazi'iyah and al-Mudharaba. That is the paper. Two sides still fighting is not a body count.
Same Asharq file: Yemen’s National Defense Council discussed readiness and executive measures for general mobilization. Asharq: the Council has not announced the start of a full-scale offensive. It warned of mobile Iranian air-defense systems, cruise missiles, and a threat to air-navigation routes, and it said the door to “safe return” remains open to those who leave the Houthis. We will not type a UN resolution this board does not have. Midday already filed Anadolu: minister Ishraq al-Maqtari claimed five killed in Taiz, including 12-year-old Youssef Abdul Warith Saif, and four in Al-Turbah. Morning already filed 414 operations with no body count. We will not reprint those as first-day news, and we will not add tonight’s “casualties on both sides” into a tally we weighed.
What this means for you
If you needed this afternoon’s unused mortar, it still stands as a minister’s claim. If you needed tonight’s unused international, it is al-Aghbari, Lahj, continuing Wednesday, and no full offensive declared. Unverified. If the week is too heavy, 988.
Bottom line: Night fight in Lahj, still going Wednesday. NDC has not declared a full offensive. Not 5 claimed. Not 414.
