Saturday’s not secured already ran. Saturday’s Mayun still Houthi already ran. This is Sunday’s unused 24-hour tally.
Asharq Al-Awsat, Aden, Sunday 07:51: Yemen’s military said it conducted more than 2,750 precision targeting operations over the previous 24 hours, the sixth day of Operation Dawn of Yemen. Spokesman Col. Majed al-Nuzaili said the strikes hit fortifications, observation and reconnaissance posts, artillery, weapons and ammunition depots, supply warehouses, and reinforcements across multiple fronts, plus what he called legitimate high-value targets deep inside Houthi-held territory. Preliminary battlefield assessments, he said: more than 1,400 Houthi fighters neutralized, more than 250 combat vehicles and other equipment destroyed or disabled. That is his line. We did not count the bodies. 2,750 is not a UN tally. 1,400 is not a body count this desk weighed.
Same Asharq file: the Coalition to Support Legitimacy said it destroyed 136 military targets in a large-scale operation. Spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki al-Malki said the campaign aimed at the Houthis’ ballistic-missile network and that coalition aircraft would keep supporting Yemeni units around the clock. Saturday already filed the coalition’s more than 130 as their Saturday count. 136 is their Sunday number. Do not smash the two. In Marib, east of Sanaa, the Armed Forces Media Center said government forces and Popular Resistance pressed the southern sectors and confirmed 22 members of the armed forces and Popular Resistance dead, others wounded. 22 is their own-side figure. Presidential Leadership Council member Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, on Facebook: praised troops on the western coast, at Bab al-Mandab, and on other fronts, and thanked the Saudi-led coalition. A Facebook note is not a map. Asharq also repeated a Giants claim north of Dhubab airport. Saturday already filed that Anadolu line. We will not reprint Dhubab as first-day news.
Friday’s Al Jaber ‘cleared’ already ran. Monday’s Eryani ‘effective control’ already ran. Saturday already said government sources now call the waterway not secured and Mayun still Houthi. A Sunday tally does not walk that back. We will not invent Sanaa fallen.
What this means for you
If you needed Saturday’s unused international, it still stands as not secured, Mayun still Houthi. If you needed this morning’s unused sentence, it is 2,750 claimed, 1,400 claimed, 250 claimed. If you needed independently verified control of the strait, wait.
Bottom line: 2,750 claimed. 1,400 claimed. Unverified. Not Saturday reprinted. Not the strait held.
