National Police of Ukraine, Chernihiv region communications, posted 6:51 p.m. local Sept. 14: as of 6:30 p.m., a strike on Pryluky killed three people and injured 13. Among the dead: two men, born 1961 and 1989, and a woman born 1945. Police: warehouses, an administrative building, apartment blocks, shops, and cars were damaged. Officers said they are documenting a war crime against civilians.
State Emergency Service, via Interfax-Ukraine 3:40 p.m.: Russian forces struck Pryluky with drones in the afternoon and set a warehouse at an agricultural enterprise on fire. Preliminary: three killed, 13 injured. Earlier the same day, regional police had three killed and seven injured. Ukrinform, citing Chernihiv prosecutors: investigators also described Bandarol-type cruise missiles around 10 a.m. and 15 casualties, three of them dead. We are using the police 6:30 p.m. update as the later official count.
AFP: Pryluky is a town of about 50,000, about 120 kilometers (75 miles) east of Kyiv. This file is not Sundayโs nationwide 6 killed and 43 hurt, and not the locomotive 2 km from Poland.
