The pass is Hejat al-Abd — steep, winding, a lifeline for the internationally recognised administration boxed into the south. The same road is the goods line into Taiz, Yemen’s third-largest city, and the only way residents there can travel abroad; no commercial flights leave Houthi-held areas, Reuters said.
