Hromadske, Sept. 15, 12:47 p.m. Kyiv; Ukrainska Pravda, 12:30: the Verkhovna Rada voted to dismiss Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko. 317 in favor. None against. None abstaining on the removal, Hromadske said. UNN: the question was taken under an expedited procedure.
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy submitted the motion Monday and suspended Kravchenko the same day after Kravchenko said he had signed a notice of suspicion against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos. That Monday quote — “only one path” — already posted here. Kryvonos said he never formally received the notice and called it a “Telegram suspicion.” NABU and SAPO called the episode pressure on independent anti-graft bodies.
Hromadske: Kravchenko left for Paris shortly before the vote and accused NABU and SAPO of pushing Zelenskiy and lawmakers to dump him. He has not been charged with a crime in the files we have. Pravda: it is still unknown who is acting prosecutor general. A 317–0 dismissal is not a verdict on NABU, SAPO, or the call-center probe.
