Dungeons II live already ran. Deluxe already ran. SiN already ran. This is Wednesday’s unused Xbox date.
Xbox Wire, Marcus Ottvall, co-founder, Section 9 Interactive, Sept. 30, 2026: End of Abyss launches October 1 for Xbox Series X|S. The Wire’s product card: Epic Games Publishing, $29.99. Play as combat technician Cel. Ottvall: Section 9 was founded by three former Tarsier Studios members; the team is in Malmö, Sweden. The game began as a top-down shooter and became a slower action-horror metroidvania. That is a studio post on Xbox Wire, not a review we invent. Tuesday already filed Minecraft Dungeons II is live on five storefronts. We will not reprint that launch as first-day news.
Same Xbox Wire note: Cel investigates disturbances in a derelict underground facility, upgrades gear, and uses a Scanner on branching paths. Ottvall names Unreal prototypes and 1980s–90s weathered references. We will not type a Metacritic we do not have. The Daily Post’s unused stickers still hold: Castlevania demo Oct. 1, full Oct. 15; Ace Combat 8 Standard Oct. 2. Those are calendars. This file is End of Abyss, Oct. 1, Xbox Series, $29.99. A named price is not a unit count.
What this means for you
If you needed Tuesday’s unused live store, it still stands as Dungeons II. If you needed this afternoon’s unused Gaming, it is End of Abyss Oct. 1, not Dungeons II again and not a review.
Bottom line: End of Abyss Oct. 1. Xbox Series. $29.99. Not Dungeons II. Not a review.
