NASA, Jason Costa, Saturday 1:08 p.m.: NASA astronauts Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney, CSA’s Joshua Kutryk, and Roscosmos’s Sergey Teteryatnikov touched down at Kennedy Space Center’s Shuttle Landing Facility at 12:56 p.m. EDT. The flight left Johnson Space Center in Houston and made a brief refueling stop in Mississippi. Friday’s unused file said they were due about 1 p.m. Saturday. 12:56 is the stamp. An arrival is not a launch we watched.
NASA: the four will spend the remaining days before launch in quarantine and final preflight operations at Kennedy. Liftoff remains no earlier than 11:10 a.m. EDT Thursday, Oct. 1, aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 from Space Launch Complex 40. Crew-13 is SpaceX’s 13th crew-rotation mission for NASA and the company’s 14th carrying NASA astronauts to the station, including Demo-2. Friday’s go poll already ran. We will not reprint that review as first-day news, and we will not invent a weather call or a hold.
