Yahoo Finance, Friday cash close: Intel $102.94, up $2.62, +2.61% from Thursday’s $100.32. Wednesday it had closed $106.24. The bounce is real. The two-day ledger is still red. AMD +2.49% to $516.13. Apple +1.75% to $332.27 — Thursday’s green name stayed green. Broadcom +0.32% to $361.99. Nvidia −0.03% to $218.29, a scratch after Thursday’s −2.37%.
The average is the other file: Dow 52,573.29 +0.98%. Midday the Dow was 52,648.77. Intel does not get to call that a semiconductor close. XLE +0.32% to $65.14 while Brent settled $104.61. CPI this morning was 0.4% / 3.4%. FOMC 15–16.
What this means for you
If you bought the Thursday dump, Friday paid a piece. If you needed $106 again, you did not get it. If you needed the Dow, it is 52,573. Not investment advice.
